On Friday 20th March we watched the partial eclipse.

Recently a partial solar eclipse took place, and thanks to the OSA (Oakridge School Association) everyone, including parents, were able to watch this incredible natural event. Four earth scientists came and did an experiment with the school, measuring wind direction and speed, temperature and cloud cover. Throughout the morning we watched the moon travel across the sun, and the sky darken. As it got colder and darker nature got confused, some birds began to go into nesting.
