Term 6

What a busy term!

What a busy term 6 we had.  Some of our pupils took part in Gifted and Talented Cluster Days with other local schools. These included a netball day, music day and art day.

Key Stage 2 pupils went to the Science Fesitval in Cheltenham with Class 3 from Bisley on 5th June. Some pupils from Years 1,2,3 and 4 took part in a tennis tournament at Chalford Tennis Club organised by Thomas Keble School on 10th June and on 11th June we had our annual 'Bling your Bike' day. (see the pictures in our news section on the website)

On 12th June our KS2 pupils took part in a mini Olympics event at Thomas Keble with some of the pupils from other local primary schools, where our year 3 and 4 pupils did especially well. On 17th June our two year 6 pupils joined year 6 pupils from Bisley to attend the leavers' service at Gloucester Cathedral and on 23rd June KS2 joined Class 3 from Bisley for an afternoon of Pulse Games.

On Friday 25th June our KS2 pupils and year 5 and 6 pupils from Bisley went to PGL Liddington for a three day residential visit where they enjoyed a variety of activities. Then we had Sports Day on 2nd July, the end of term performance on 9th July (please have a look at the photos on the news section of the website) and year 5 pupils enjoyed a Maths enrichment session at Thomas Keble on 11th July.

Our last week of term was a bit quieter with an end of term leavers' treat (a Barn Owl flying experience) for the two year 6 pupils and finally the end of term leavers/achievement worship in Church where we said goodbye to Harry and Bex.  We wish them well at their new schools and will certainly miss them.
