Key Priorities

I have been working with you for nearly 6 weeks. It has been a real joy and a pleasure to work with two wonderful school communities.

Dear Parents,

I have been working with you for nearly 6 weeks. It has been a real joy and a pleasure to work with two wonderful school communities.

When I started here I thought very carefully about the key priorities. What were the key things that both schools needed? I shared these priorities with the staff and governors. As we near the end of my first term at Bisley Blue Coat School and Oakridge Parochial School I have through all my interactions and work at both schools been able to confirm that these priorities remain the right ones.  I feel that now would be a good time to share them with you all.

Please come and speak to me if you have any comments or questions about these priorities, as together we are incredibly powerful in improving the opportunities for our children at both schools.

Key priorities for Bisley and Oakridge Schools 2018/19

1

To take effective action to ensure Bisley School and Oakridge School continue to be good schools.

2

To create a cohesive community where all stakeholders including children, staff, parents and governors are clear about their roles and their impact is positive.

3

To ensure a sustainable leadership plan is in place for Bisley and Oakridge Schools to allow both schools to be well led and managed.

4

To create an environment which will inspire a future school leader to be appointed for Bisley and Oakridge Schools from September 2019.

(Advert for a new HT to be placed Jan ’19)

Yours sincerely

David Williams
