Newsletter 5

We are all looking forward to our biggest fundraising event on Saturday 19th May

Dear parents / carers

Newsletter 5—May 2018

Countdown to the May Revels.

We are all looking forward to our biggest fundraising event of the year next Saturday 1pm. Please return all outstanding monies, raffle stubs and any unsold tickets to the school office in a clearly labelled envelope as soon as possible.

Project Touchline Event.

We are thrilled to have been invited to take part in a sports event led by Project Touchline. This event will be kindly funded by the Bisley Benefice. Our pupils will take part in a range of sporting activities at Bisley playing fields over two days. The event for Class 1 will take place on Wednesday 23rd May and for Class 2 on Thursday 24th May. At the moment we understand the sessions each day to be between 9.30am and 1.15pm. Coaches have been booked to transport the children to and from the event. All pupils will need a packed lunch for their day out. We will send out more information about exact timings and suitable clothing when we receive final confirmations.

Wildlife Quiz.

Our wildlife quiz team consisting of Amelia, Bude, Frankie, Joly and Monty represented our school in the area semi-finals earlier this term. They competed against Christchurch Chalford and Beaudesert Schools coming an extremely close second behind Christchurch. It was a very tense competition and the team did extremely well. A huge well done to them and to Mrs Hayes and Mr Craine for their support inspiring and preparing our children.

Achievement Worship.

Our next Achievement Worship in church will take place on Friday 25th May 9.15am

Just to remind you there will be NO Zumba on Friday 18th May.
